Order Process

AVAILABILITY

While Verkossa endeavours to keep the information on its website as up to date as possible, products may, from time to time, be unavailable or limited in colour and size.

QUOTE

Verkossa will provide pricing information to you based on your initial query. Multiple changes may be made at this stage prior to the provision of a final quote. This process is non binding on either party.

FINAL QUOTE

The information contained within the final quote including but not limited to product, colour, size, quantity, delivery will be considered by both parties to be final.

The final quote must be:

  • thoroughly checked for accuracy of information, and
  • signed by an authorised representative of your company.

It is understood that prior to accepting any quote, the Buyer has read and accepted the Terms and Conditions set out on this page.

Purchase orders are not required by Verkossa, however if they are an internal requirement of your company it is your responsibility to provide them.

INVOICE

An Invoices will be provided upon receipt of a signed final quote. Payment of a minimum of 50% is required to secure the product on your behalf. The Invoice must be paid in full prior to delivery.

It is your responsibility to verify bank details by phone. Should you ever be notified by email, notice or changed details on an Invoice or other document it is your responsibility to verify this change by phone.

LEAD TIMES

Lead times are subject to the availability of your required product from third party suppliers.

Lead times should be confirmed on receipt of the Invoice. Lead times are accurate at the time of Invoice processing but can be delayed where payments are not received in a timely manner.

DELIVERY

It is your responsibility to provide as much information as possible regarding access to your premises. Unless otherwise stated prices are based on delivery to ground floor with clear and unobstructed access only.

Verkossa uses third party road transport contractors and difficult accessibility requiring the need for a tailgate lift truck, forklifts, or additional labour may incur further delivery costs.

Verkossa shall not be liable for any claim arising from delay or failure to deliver caused by:

  • unavailability of materials, strikes, accidents or company liquidation,
  • limited or obstructed access to buildings including elevators, steps or loading docks, which may result in increased delivery costs, or
  • any other delay caused by a 3rd party subcontractor or event beyond the reasonable control of the company.

INSTALLATION

Where furniture is delivered UNASSEMBLED , Verkossa takes NO responsibility for any damage occurring during any process of the assembly on the Buyers premises. Assembly of goods can be arranged in some instances at an additional cost.

The placement of goods and/or de-bagging of chairs is not included but is available upon request at additional cost.

CANCELLATION

In the event that an order is cancelled by the Buyer, a cancellation or re-stocking fee may be charged at Verkossa’s discretion. In some cases it may also result in the loss of any deposits paid.

OWNERSHIP

The product remains the property of the Seller until payment for goods has been received in full. If the Buyer fails to make payment (or part thereof ), the Seller shall be entitled to take possession of the goods until payment is made or at its option resell the goods, but without prejudice to its other rights and remedies.

SUPPLIERS’S WARRANTY

Supplier warranties apply to all products for the duration noted on the item.

All products are covered by a commercial warranty for manufacturing faults & defects. This does not cover damage due to the use or misuse of the product, fair wear and tear, or replaceable parts and optional accessories e.g. cushions, feet, screws etc.

CLAIMS

In the unlikely event that damage occurs during delivery or any items are missing, the Buyer must contact the Seller within 5 working days of the delivery/installation taking place. Verkossa may at its discretion choose whether to repair, replace or make good any products delivered with visible damage.

Where the Buyer believes that the product is faulty and where the product is within the Manufacturers warranty period and the damage is not due to the misuse of the goods or from fair wear and tear, the Buyer must contact the Seller with full details of the fault.

Freight and handling charges are non refundable on warranty claims

Variations in fabric die lots, timber grain, shade and/or colour of goods supplied, particularly where surfaces are veneered with natural timbers, shall not be regarded as a fault and no claims will be entertained in respect of it.
